The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker

This is one of my favorite brunch spots in West Hollywood. Iโ€™ve been here multiple times with friendsย in the past, so when I had family visiting this past weekend I decided to take them here. I had not been since Covid, so I was curious to see what changes they had made in the interim. For the most part itโ€™s the same, except they added the cutest outdoor patio in the back parking lot. They even have a cute little setup in the middle of the patio where you can pose for pictures, which my family and I did after our meal.ย

We wentย for breakfastย on a Friday morning at 10 a.m. Thankfully I had made a reservation because it was quite busy. If you plan on going, especially on a weekend, I highly recommend making a reservation because itโ€™s always very popular and packed. Although Iโ€™d say that generally goes for most restaurants in LA these days because of Covid.

They seated us in the middle patio which had a nice view, although anywhere you sit is lovely. I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs and theย bananasย foster Frenchย toast to share. The avocado toast was delicious but the Frenchย toast was HEAVENLY. It was definitely one of the best French toasts Iโ€™ve ever had and I will absolutely be returning just to eat it again. My family also raved about the French toast and loved their respective dishes, which consisted of the pancakes and filet mignon.

Conclusion? The ambience is great, the food is delicious, the service is good, and you should definitely add it to your list.

(Note: this post was originally published April 29, 2024, but as of today I can still say that this place rocks and remains one of my favorite brunch spots in LA)
